It’s getting hotter out there, but while the weather’s just right it’s the best time to get out and about in Chandler, AZ. Whether you’re looking for family-friendly fun or date night ideas, we’ve got you covered with our list of spring activities.

See Some Dinosaurs in the Desert

Phoenix Zoo is always an exciting experience, but up to April 30 it’s hosting some very special guests. Over twenty dinosaurs and other ancient creatures have taken up residence, including Tyrannosaurus Rex, Arctotherium, and a saber-toothed cat. These intimidating animatronics will make some amazing springtime memories for the little ones, so come along to 455 North Galvin Parkway in Phoenix to say hello.

Until May 27, the farmers market will be running at Dr AJ Chandler Park West from 9am to 1pm every Saturday. Celebrate Unofficial Star Wars Day

Use the force to guide you as you paint a Death Star box with Burst of Butterflies Create and Paint Studio, and then craft a themed cocktail at the Spirit House. The event is only open to over-21s, so you must be of legal age to drink. Remember to drink responsibly and in moderation, and never drink and drive.

Catch a Dive-in Movie

On May 6 the Hamilton Aquatic Center will be hosting a dive-in showing of “Luca” at 3838 South Arizona Avenue, with water safety giveaways from the available information booths before the movie starts. Scheduled for the second Friday of every month, this event is held at the Merchants Square Antique Marketplace at 1509 North Arizona Avenue.
