The Chevy Tahoe has been one of the more impressive large SUVs on the road since it was introduced in the early nineties. Somehow, though, it continues to improve with each new edition. Indeed, the 2023 edition boasts lots of eye-catching features that are likely to impress anyone who’s considering buying a new large SUV.

A Powerful Selection of Engines

2023 Chevy Tahoe

The standard engine is a powerful 5.3-liter 355-horsepower V8 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. If you’re looking for more power, you can upgrade to the 420-horsepower version on all trims. If you’re more interested in improved fuel economy, you can opt for a 3-liter Duramax turbo diesel engine.

Alternatively, the High Country trim gives you the best of both worlds; it boasts a 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 engine with dynamic fuel management capability. This engine teams with Chevy’s Magnetic Ride Control suspension system technology to deliver a seamless ride. You can expect your Tahoe to adapt to changing outdoor conditions within milliseconds if you opt for a trim with Magnetic Ride Control enabled.

Plenty of Room in the Cabin

The new Tahoe blows many of its direct competitors away when it comes to cabin space. There are 123 cubic feet of cargo space behind the front seats, 72.6 cubic feet behind the second seats, and 25.5 cubic feet in the third row. That means fully-grown adults can comfortably fit in the back.

Safety Features Galore

Chevy Safety Assist comes with six useful safety features. These are automated braking, front pedestrian braking, forward collision alert, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, following distance indicator, and Intellibeam automatic high beams. Best of all, this comes as standard with all trims. More advanced safety features are available as you climb the six trims of this vehicle.

Super Cruise Control

The Super Cruise technology offered by Chevrolet is one of the most advanced cruise control packages available to motorists today. You can drive hands-free on over 200,000 miles worth of U.S. and Canadian roads with this feature.

A Trim Especially for Off-Roaders

Four-wheel drive is available for all trims, but the Z71 trim goes the extra mile for off-road enthusiasts. It comes with all-terrain tires, a front skid plate, an automatic traction system, and air springs that allow you to manually adjust the vehicle’s height.

Add the Z71 Signature package to this trim to be treated to even more useful features including a panoramic sunroof, blind-spot monitoring, and extra towing capability.
